About the Speaker

Viviana Martinez Bianchi MD (USA/Argentina) is a family doctor and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is the Associate Professor and Director for Health Equity at Duke University's Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. Dr. Martinez Bianchi was elected President-Elect of WONCA in October 2023 and will serve as President from 2025 to 2027. Her extensive work in advocacy has focused on improving health equity, and she is passionate about educating family doctors and their teams to enhance their roles in health systems worldwide.
