Rendez-Vous 2012 inspires many, advocates new ways of thinking
Rendez-Vous 2012 brought together the WONCA World Rural Health conference and The Network: Towards Unity for Health annual conference, as well as the next NOSM/Flinders conference on Community Engaged Medical Education, the Consortium for Longitudinal Integrated Curricula, and the Training for Health Equity Network. More than 850 delegates from nearly fifty countries and six continents attended.

Rendez-Vous 2012 co-chairs, Sue Berry and Kaat De Backer welcome the recent news that Dr Timothy G Evans has graciously accepted the invitation as key note speaker at our upcoming conference. His inspirational delivery will open the conference and be sure to stimulate thoughts and generate discussions throughout the days.
SIG Environment becomes a Working Party
The Wonca Special Interest Group (SIG) Environment continues to be active. We submitted documents noting our high level of activity, to the Core Executive Meeting, which was held in Warsaw, Poland, on September 6, 2011, with a proposal to upgrade the SIG Environment to the status of a Wonca Working Party.
