Al Razi (East Mediterranean region) young doctors

Al Razi young family doctors Movement is the Wonca East Mediterranean Region (EMR) working group for new and future family physicians / general practitioners. It has been officially endorsed by the Wonca EMR council and officially launched at the region after the WONCA EMR executive board meeting in Cairo on the 13th of January 2014.It was named after an ancient Arabic physician AL-Razi as an appreciation for his accomplishments.

The convenor is Dr Nagwa Nashat Hegazy (pictured) of Egypt. Nagwa is a lecturer in family medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Menoufyia University, in Egypt. She is a young gneral practitioner who is not only a lecturer but also a member of the exam committee of the Egyptian fellowship of family medicine and health. She  is a member of the Egyptian Family Medicine Association.
