Call For Papers
The scientific committee of the joint 5th WONCA Africa and 20th Annual National Family Practitioners Congress invites the submission of abstracts. The congress is a great opportunity for general practitioners, registrars and family physicians to present their research. Family Medicine is a young and vibrant academic discipline in South Africa. It is critical that we share successful research outcomes with our peers. The programme allows for workshops, oral as well as poster presentations. In order to be considered, an abstract has to be submitted for peer review before 30 April 2017
Each abstract will be peer reviewed and evaluated in terms of its social value, scientific value, methodological quality and clarity. Reviewers will decide on whether to recommend acceptance or rejection of an abstract and if accepted whether it would be better as an oral presentation or a poster.
The scientific committee will inform applicants of the outcome of the review by 31 May 2017.
